At least three children were injured, and two officers were among four others who were also hospitalized after the response to the crash, the police said.

The vehicle met the church of the transmission in the 12000 block of the South 86th Avenue in the Palos Park around 4:30 p.m., said Pastor Hunter Farrow.

“It was scary and very insecure and chaotic,” said Farrow. “… a big celebration for our 75th anniversary.”

When the community where a daycare center and a preschool was housed, these celebrations marked a violent curve.

The Palos Park police said it was assumed that the driver of the vehicle, a pickup, had a medical emergency before the crash.

The truck hit the building in which there is a classroom, said Farrow.

“It almost sounded like it was an earthquake,” said Farrow. “They just said we had to run and get the children out. All teachers were incredible.”

It was not immediately clear what the age of people who may have been injured or what led to the crash.

The conditions of the injured were also not known.

The weekend's weekend plans are now deterred, while Farrow prays for healing.

“Tomorrow you should have a degree in the daycare center. That is obviously canceled,” said Farrow. “I am still concerned about the broken bones and the smoke in the smoke … this is a physical trauma that these people still have to heal.”

According to Farrow, the services were canceled on Sunday until it is certain for its community members to go back in.
