Michigan drunk drivers Marshella Chidester condemned because he had killed the siblings Alanah and Zayn Phillips at a birthday party

A drunken driver who killed two young siblings when she plowed her SUV into a children's birthday party in Michigan, told the family affected by mourning that she would “appreciate” her forgiveness when she found out her fate in court this week.

The 67-year-old Marshella Chidester received a 25- to 50-year prison sentence on Thursday because of the fatal crash, in which 8-year-old Alanah Phillips and her 4-year-old brother Zayn were killed.

Her blood alcohol mirror was more than twice as high as the legal limit when she fell 25 feet through the Swan Creek Boat Club in Newport, where children and her parents enjoyed the birthday celebrations on April 20, 2024.

“The grief was unbearable,” said Mariah Dodds, the destroyed mother, to the court in the conviction.

“She took everything in my life and destroys it.”

The blue car of the convicted boozer caught the alarming film material through the club's parking lot before entering the side of the Berlin municipal building and extinguishing it.

Both children died at the scene, with the catastrophic wreck injured 13 more.

“I asked the Lord to forgive myself,” said Chidester for mercy during her weak request.

“And I ask you to look into your heart at least, and at some point I would be so happy if you could possibly award me.”

Chidester was convicted in March after a four -day procedure for murdered second degree and other charges, in which her legal team claimed that she had prompted a leg injury to press hard on the accelerator pedal.

They also argued that she only had a glass of wine before she climbed to the steering wheel.
