F1 team sponsor “accidentally Leaks” driver exchange as “debut race” for replacement -F1

Jack Doohan, F1 driver of Alpine F1, could be founded from the team after a team sponsor leaked important information.

F1 will return to our screens this weekend after a two -week break, as the fastest cars in the world drove the streets of Miami.

Oscar Piatri took over the leadership of the driver's championship from his McLaren teammate Lando Norris after winning Sauid Arabia's Grand Prix.

While the entire drama seems to be in the top history at the lower end of the network, the headlines dominated, and that is the strange case of Jack Doohan.

Doohan was promoted from Alpine's reserve driver for the 2025 season, and the French team announced the signing of Franco Colapinto from Williams a little more than a month later.

Colapinto was one of the stars of the 2024 season after replacing Logan Sargeant in Williams from the Italian Grand Prix.

The performance of the 21-year-old seemed to be enough to secure a full-time seat for 2025, and was strongly connected to Red Bull, which made his deal through the paddock with alpine.

With Colapinto, who abatters the neck, Doohan's future looked uncertain throughout the season, but it looks as if a decision was made to make Miami the last race of the Australian with the team.

Colapinto debut for alpine is leaked

This revelation came in the unexpected form of a hot microphone gape when Horacio Marin, President and CEO of YPF, appeared on the TV news channel A24.

During the interview on Argentine television, Marin was repeatedly asked when Colapinto Doohan would replace, which he insisted several times that he did not know.

However, as soon as the camera is cut away, the inscription “in Imola” can be heard, which follows the Miami -GP in the F1 calendar.

While it is still unconfirmed, which was to be understood with the term “debut” in this context, Colapinto was already behind the steering wheel of an alpine during the test sessions after moving.

Doohan spoke before the first race of the season at F1 75 and was bombarded with questions about his future and Colapinto's role in the team.

When asked whether he felt undermined by Colapinto's arrival, he spun: “Is that a question?

“I was told that he was a reserve driver,” he strengthened.

“I was a 21-year-old reserve driver with a long-term contract last year, but no, I don't do it [feel undermined, ed.]. Maybe I should, I don't know. I don't really understand how a question is, but definitely not. “
