Gasleck closes the highway in sand feathers

Atlanta, Ga. (Atlanta News first) – A gas leak from a line hits a highway in Sandy Springs closed for a “longer period”, according to the Sandy Springs police.

The gas line occurred on Mount Vernon Highway and closed the street between Glenridge Drive and Spruill Lane.

Atlanta gas light published the following explanation.

The police said the drivers should use an alternative route.

The Sandy Springs police did not say how long the road will be closed.
