HMD Global seems to prepare for the start of his second generation Vibe smartphone. According to the latest reports, the HMD Vibe 2 appeared in LECKS and becomes a solid upgrade to its predecessor. With meaningful improvements in terms of performance, display and camera hardware, it looks like a strong contender on budget-conscious users.

Under the bonnet is expected to run Vibe 2 on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 Chipset. This new processor should be more powerful than the Snapdragon 680 found in the previous model, which makes the mood more efficient and a better overall duration.

HMD comes to the design and the appearance of the phone and seems to stay on a modern and minimal aesthetics. On the front, users can expect a 6.67-inch OLED display with Full HD+resolution, 90-HZ-update rate and HDR10 support. This is a big leap forward from the 6.55-inch 720p LCD panel of the original Vibe, and the upgrade should offer sharper images and much more smooth scrolling.

For the camera, the HMD Vibe 2 is to be a 50 MP shooter at the front, which represents a massive jump over the basic 5 megapixel selfie cam on the original. This upgrade should give entry -level users a solid taste of high -resolution selfies. On the back, HMD glues with a dual camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a secondary 2MP lens, probably for deep recording or macro photography.

The HMD Vibe 2 also receives a solid upgrade in the battery department and grabs a 5,000 mAh cell with support for the 33 -W cable charge. This is a noticeable step of the 4,000 MAH battery of the original Vibe and a slow 10 -w charging speed.

While the pricing and publication details are still under lock and key, the upgrades indicate that HMD should deliver a rounded starting phone. This also means that we could see a slight prices. With leaks that reveal important details, an official announcement by the company could be around the corner.
