Points, postgame updates from game 6

play

New York-Die Knicks started this series as an outsider.

If the Knicks wanted to win this if they continued in the playoffs, they need complete services and contributions to overcome the depth of the Celtics and the sheer number of weapons.

This is exactly what the Knicks delivered exactly when they needed the most urgent.

Tom Thibodeau's team turned a dominant, thorough striking of the Celtics on Friday to win the game 6 119-81 and to go to the final of the Eastern Conference, where they will play the fourth Indiana Pacers.

This was the first time since 1999 when they defeated the Pacers in the conference final, and the Knicks closed a playoff series on their home court. And it has been your first trip to the conference final since 2000.

Boston, who lost the Star Jayson Tatum in game 4 against Achilles, never had a great chance in this game.

The Knicks had control from the start.

Their efforts were excellent. They shot 46.2 percent from the field and defended at an extremely high level.

They set the tone early and never let it go.

In the meantime, the Celtics fought only 12 out of 41 (29.3 percent) from the three-point range at both ends of the Bodens-Sie and were never adjusted.

Jalen Brunson had 23 points for the Knicks, while Karl-Anthony Towns ended with 21 points and 12 rebounds.

OG Anunoby had 23 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocks, while Mikal Bridges had 22 points in 9-of-15 shooting (4 out of 7 out of three).

This is how the game developed:

End of the third quarter: Knicks 92, Celtics 57

Total demolition through the kinks.

Really not much to say.

Another quarter and the Knicks will go to the conference final on the way.

3Q, 2:50: Jaylen Brown Fout

Jaylen Brown's game and probably his season is over.

The Celtics star melted in the third quarter just three minutes before the excursion.

Up to this point he had 20 points, six rebounds and six assists.

3Q, 8:35: Jalen Brunson hits a three and the kinks are up at 31 a.m.

Brunson's three from the top of the arch puts the Knicks 74-43. This is an absolute beatdown of the Knicks.

Halftime: Knicks 64, Celtics 37

Absolute dominance of the Knicks in the first half. She closed the rating with three from the right corner of DeCbride when the clock moved out for the last seconds of the second quarter.

Knicks shoot 47.1 percent. They defend at an extremely high level. Boston only shoots 33.3 percent from the field and only went 4 out of 19 out of three.

Karl-Anthony Towns has 16 points on the 6-from 13 shooting, while Mikal Bridges has 12 points and Jalen Brunson 11.

Jaylen Brown has 18 points for the Celtics, but he is almost the only one who does something.

2.Q, 5:00: Knicks after a wild sequence at 8 p.m.

Miles McBride got a block on Derrick White at one end. Josh Hart got the rebound, then went up the place and made a hard shot off the trail, pulled the foul and hit the free throw for the three -point game.

There are 47-27 Knicks.

By the way, Hart has five points, eight rebounds and five templates.

Another all-round performance from the Ironman of the Knicks.

2.Q, 7:02: Boston does not shoot well from long -distance routes

The previous Celtics are only 3 out of 14 from beyond the arch.

This is huge for the kinks.

Boston lives and dies from the three. As we saw in games 1 and 2, they don't adapt very well if the Celtics recordings do not fall.

We will see if this cold start will continue.

Huge quarter for Bridges, which has 10 of the Knicks points. It is 4 out of 5 from the field, including 2-von 2 from the three-point range.

Karl-Anthony Towns so far has 11 points in 4-of-9 shooting and encourages the Knicks because he was mainly a non-factor in game 5.

Boston does not shoot well at all, only 8 out of 24 from the field.

1Q, 7:04: Knicks in control early

So far, so good for the kinks. They are 11-5 in about five minutes in the first quarter.

Mikal Bridges, who has seven points in the beginning of the years, simply hit a three from the right corner that put the crowd in frenzy.

Knicks play defensively only 2 out of 10 Boston on a high level.

Pre-Game: Luke Kornet begins for the Celtics

Kornet had a huge game 5 and he earned himself tonight in the starting line -up for game 6 instead of Kristaps Porzingis.

The former Knicks Center had 10 points, nine rebounds and seven blocks on the blowout win of the Celtics on Wednesday. He started the second half of this game.
