Exclusive | The AOC district sees 70% crime thrust –

What these neighborhoods really need is a “squad” car.

The great crime has increased by 70% in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez 'Bronx and Queens District, since the “socialist” legislature in 2019 “Defund the Police”-more than twice the city-wide increase of the same span, as a post analysis of NYPD data shows.

The 110th district in Queens, which covers part of the infamous “market of loved ones” for human trade and prostitution mecca in Roosevelt Avenue, recorded an increase of 105%, the highest increase in every NYC district during this period.

Large crimes consist of murder, rape, robbery, crimes, burglary, great theft and car theft.

The 115th district, which also serves part of the Roosevelt Avenue next to Jackson Heights, East Elmhurst and North Corona, rose by 85%by 85%.

In the other four districts in their congress district in Queens-Bronx, the major crime rose in a similar way than that through the city-wide.

Some residents accused the increasingly lawlessness to the legislator without a show.

“She doesn't do. She does not live in the neighborhood, she does not take care of it,” she ventilated in her whole life in the 110th district and is one of several voters who lived in the jet setting member of the district who dealt with the national stage in the 110th district, and is one of several voters who have torn the jet setting member.

The 34 -year -old Alvarez, a former AOC supporter, had to endure a brothel that has been built up by her home house on the other side of the street, and the drunk men, whom she is constantly swarming and out of the village. She said she is also regular witness to gang activities, car theft and attacks, but nothing is done.

She dreamed of building a life in the neighborhood, but no longer.

“I can't wait to forgive my language – the F – K here. It makes me so sad that they did it to push me out of my neighborhood. And I'm not the only one … I could never have a family here.”

Alvarez tried to impose the problem with Ocasio-Cortez when she met her in a town hall in the Bronx last year, but did not come anywhere.

“I asked: 'Are you aware of how terrible it is? When was the last time you were in Jackson Heights, Elmhurst?' She ignored me and said to me: “You can ask this person” what I think your assistant.

“I think it's disrespectful. You are there for people from my community and you don't do it for our community.”

The average increase in serious crimes in the districts, which are part of the 14th district, was 70%. Ny post design

Elmhurt's Ramses Frias, a candidate of the Republican City Councilor, also lambasted the absent AOC.

“You have a mouth to speak. People suffer. They are afraid of going outside,” he said to the post.

The residents even advocated the federal government in January to clean up the streets and told them that illegal brothels, brazen gang activities and regular attacks made it an emergency of public security.

AOC weakened crimes in her district.

It worked for a short period of time, but was back as usual until March, whereby prostitutes offer sex in broad lighting daylight, older people who shoe the stairs, as well as random strokes and robberies.

AOC mother is not only crime, as critics say that their inflammatory anti-cop rhetoric has contributed to the unprecedented recruitment crisis of the NYPD.

“Nobody wants to become a police officer, it was strengthened,” said Hannah Meyers, director of the police and public security at the Manhattan Institute. “And that affects every function that the police do.

“It is her district, she should look for people there. She has such a short -sighted focus on the breed,” she added and noticed that most of the victims of crimes in her district are black or Hispan. “They do not help the victims of crimes by talking about how the system is racist.

“Rhetoric is really powerful,” said Meyers.

At the peak of refining the police movement, Ocasio-Cortez closed a proposed reduction of $ 1.5 billion to the NYPD in order not to go far enough. This year New York Finest canceled an incoming cadet class that would have added 1,163 officers to the troop.

“The police mean removing the police,” said the socialist legislator in June 2020. Since then, it has doubled in 2021 to tear down concerns about the increase in crime as “hysteria” and to argue in 2022 that “police budgets have nothing to do with crime levels”. Last year, she and other members of the “squad” voted against a resolution in which efforts to develop the local law enforcement authorities were convicted.

“She talks about the overall fighting of the oligarchy, and that's why they are – the poor people. And yet most people are afraid in their district fear that they cannot feel that they can get out of the door without encountering a drug dealer or a wallet,” said Betsy Brantner Smith, Betsy Brantner Smith.

“And that contradicts everything you know what it stands for. If you don't feel safe, you are not free.”

For the analysis, the post investigated the data of the NYPD data for the seven major crimes for the districts, the part of the 14th Congress District of Ocasio-Cortez during their time in the Waren-Die 43. And 45th districts in the Bronx and the 109th, 110th and 115th and 115.

The Ocasio-Cortez office did not return the mail from the mail for comment.
