Lakers' LeBron James reflects the NBA final from 2011 against Mavericks

The NBA final in 2011 seems to be a life, but it is still the biggest moment in the history of the Dallas Mavericks. They took the Miami Heat “Big Three” by LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on a street that some people call the “hardest” ring ever because of the competition with which the team was confronted in every round.

It is also one of the few flaws in the career of LeBron James, who in the worst case is one of the two best players in the NBA history. He was almost bad in this series, exceeded and outwitted by JJ Barea, whom the Mavericks decided to have the guard LeBron James, and dared to beat her with brutal violence, and he wouldn't do it. In the games 3-5, he scored an average of 14 ppg at 38.6%.

Now that James is in the last phases of his career at the age of 40, he can look back and think about his legendary path. Most recently, he remembered the NBA final 2011 with Steve Nash in the second season of the “Mind the Game” podcast.

“In my first year with the heat, I wanted to win so badly that I was also afraid to let so many people down,” said James. “If it doesn't happen, I let up so many (expantive) people. The hours that I put into my craft. Instead of just going out there and only the (explosion)?

That was James' second defeat in the NBA final up to this point in his career, but his first loss came in 2007 when his Cleveland Cavaliers were exceeded by the San Antonio Spurs. However, the defeat against the MAVS in 2011 was a major turning point in his career because he was able to win the next two championships, one in Cleveland in 2016 and one with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020.
