Dieumerci Migani, Henry Glad Score for Vikings on the first day at Big Sky Outdoor Championships

Results

Sacramento, California – – –

Dieumerci Migani Imagine another great performance at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships on Friday and achieved the final in the 100 meters, while he achieved fifth place in the long jump.
It almost fits his idea a year ago when Migani scored 11 points between the 100 meters, the long jump and the triple jump – the largest individual score, which has been achieved by an athlete of the Viking men since 2016.
Migani added four points to his career Friday in the Hornet Stadium when he took fifth place in the long jump with a brand of 23-00.75 (7.03 m). With 15 career points at the Big Sky Outdoor Championships, Migani is now connected to Jordan Senn (2004-06) and Peter Jason Tait (2008-10) for ninth place of all time. His 23 combined points between the Big Sky Indoor and Outdoor Championships leave him only four points outside the top 10, with the final on Saturday at 100 meters and the triple diving will still come.
Migani reached the finale of the 100 meters after he had bound his season in 10.59 seconds in 10.59 seconds. Migani took second place in his heat, but went to the final in time.
Henry happy Migani cooked for the Viking men on Friday and put eighth place in the spear with a clutch throw on his sixth and last attempt. I am glad that with an improvement of eight feet from the value position to eighth place in the overall ranking, he jumped on his last go-carund 178-11 (54.54 m). The brand represented a new personal best by more than seven feet and improved the Mark Glad set on the Stanford Invitational on April 4 at the beginning of this season.
I am glad that teammates are surprised Jackson Wurz For the seventh in the first 10 with the brand. Wurz even took 10th place and threw 162-08 (49.58 m) for his second best brand of the season.
Ania Kapustka I have just missed the hits for the Vikings while he put ninth place in the 3K obstacle. Kapustka cracked 11 minutes for the second time 11 minutes this season and ended in 10: 57.68.
No other Vikings achieved or climbed before the preliminary rounds on Friday. Nevertheless, a number of Vikings either set their best or second best grades of the season.
From this group, Deghlan Johnson For the first time in the 400-meter hurdles for 55 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles, while they were just missed at a qualification location in the final on Saturday. Johnson took 10th place in 54.66 seconds, almost half a second faster than his former best from the preview of Oregon on March 22nd at the beginning of this season. Johnson joined this brand in the top 10 of all time in Portland State, and although he did not increase with the improvement on Friday, he still ranks at the ninth all -time time.
Abdi Ibrahim with a 25-second best in the top 10 in the 10k of the men and took 14th place in the final on Friday in 30: 56.92. Ibrahim now occupies sixth place in the 10 km, its sixth top 10 brand in a single event in Portland State between Cross Country, Indoor and Outdoor route.
Daniel Coppedge came within four foot after entering the top 10 in the men's discus, while he gave a personal best with a throw of 141-05 (43.11 m).
Natalie Cunningham The best way to add six foot to their collegiate on the women's side of the discussion. In her second of three attempts, Cunningham threw 121-00 (36.88 m) and improved the best to date that she provided on April 19 at L&C Larry Butrly Invitational.
Nick Moore (Men 1,500) and Jackson Mathers (Men's high jump) Both have set their second best seasonal traces in their respective events. Moore ran faster of the two prelim warming in the 1,500 meters and took the 16th overall in 3: 57.90. That was just from the Larry Byyly invitation of 3: 57.10. In the meantime, Mathers took 13th place in the high jump with an release with 6-01.50 (1.87 m), half a customs below its seasonal best of 6-02.00 (1.88 m) from OSU High Performance Meet.
Amir Ahmed took a big swing in the preliminary runs of the 800 meters of the men. He sprinted forward and held the lead through the first 500 meters and was then passed on on the back. On April 5, Ahmed took the 12th overall in 1: 52.21, directly on his personal best from 1: 52.15 from Brutus Hamilton Invitational.
Edward Niyongere Set a new season best in the long jump and add seven inches to its previous best, while you take 11th place with a brand of 21-10.75 (6.67 m). Niyongere will return to the Triple Jump on Saturday, an event where he classified the meeting in the Big Sky Conference in rank.
Migani will join Niyonge in the triple jump, just a few minutes after he ran in the final of the 100 meters. And since the teammates push each other, we may see more fireworks from the Vikings on Saturday.
