Manhattan Gasleck: Several buildings near Columbia University in Morningide Heights were evacuated in the middle of high pressure leaks

Morningside Heights, Manhattan (WABC) – After a gas leak on Wednesday morning, several buildings were evacuated in the Morningide Heights section of Manhattan.

According to Con Edison, a high -pressure leak was found on a gas capacity on Broadway and the 122nd street.

The Manhattan School of Music, which is located in Claremont Avenue, belongs to several places that have been cleared.

The subway service in the 1-line was temporarily hung up between the 96th Street and the 168th Street-Washington Heighton, but is now running with delays.

In the meantime, the FDNY conducts an examination in the 125th Street.

No injuries were reported.
