1 dead, 1 in Gallatin death examination charged

Nashville, Tenn. (WSMV) – A man was arrested because of the first degree murder after a man was found dead in a house in Gallatin.

In the early Saturday morning, around 2:40 a.m., officers from the Gallatin police department were called for a possible murder of the West Hite Street due to a possible murder due to a possible murder.

The officials said they found 65-year-old Stephen Thomas in the house.

Detectives found that Thomas and the suspect, who was identified as a 29-year-old Daniel Ruiz, knew before the murder, the police said.
