Michael Jordan called a “special” talent of the new NBA generation and he has already dismantled Steph Curry – NBA

Michael Jordan once expressed his views into an emerging star of the NBA, who recently wrote history with his side.

MJ is one of the greats of all basketball and is probably the goat of sport for a legendary magic with the Chicago Bulls, in which he exceeded the sport and entered the mainstream culture.

The now retired Jordan, who last played in 2003 after he ended his career at the Washington Wizards, is a six-time NBA champion with the bulls after his time, which was also crowned a total of six times for the MVP.

Jordan, who is now 62 years old and has been retired for more than two decades, was also appointed five times the most valuable player in the NBA.

Jordan's huge reach of the square came through his partnership with Nike on the Air Jordan coach and his heroic deeds on the big screen by appearing in the film Space Jam from 1996.

The play-offs of the 2025 NBA season are currently taking place and one player in particular catches attention and receives great praise for his heroic deeds on the pitch.

Anthony Edwards is only 23 years old, but has recently only been the sixth player in NBA history, who achieved 1,000 play-off points before reaching 24.

The other five players from whom this list consist of are Kobe Bryant, Tony Parker, LeBron James, Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum.

Edwards plays for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and his team has reached the Western Conference final, where they will compete against the winners of the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Denver Nuggets.

Minnesota has recently beat the two La Lakers – James's side – and recently the Golden State Warriors, which Steph Curry had on her squad, but was not involved for most of the series of her semi -finals after taking a thigh strain out of action.

Edwards played a key role to beat both the Lakers and the Warriors, and the legendary Earvin 'Magic' Johnson praised his contribution.

Magic Johnson went to social media and wrote: “Congratulations to the Minnesota Timberwolves, who chose the best time for the best basketball.

“Anthony Edwards dominated both the Lakers and the warriors with a lot of help from Julius Randle, who plays the best I've ever seen.”

And last year, after the Timberwolves defeated the Phoenix Suns, Stephen A Smith received Jordan's reaction and his view of Edwards was clear.

Smith said: “I called the goat. I did. I called Michael Jordan. We said 'Yo, you see that?'”

And Jordan's answer was: “This brother is something special. No question.”
