Knicks vs. Pacers opportunities, bets, lines: New York is the favorite in the final of the Eastern Conference for the second time in the past 50 years

The New York Knicks defended in game 6 on Friday evening in Madison Square Garden Home Court and easily defeated the Boston Celtics 119-81 to get their first final of the Eastern Conference since 2000.

The Knicks will compete against the Indiana Pacers and be in an unknown position when the series begins on Wednesday: favorite to win the series.

New York was opened on Friday evening as -140 favorite at BetmGM to get outsiders to the NBA final with the Pacers A +115. On Saturday morning the Knicks were up to -1550 and the Pacers at +125.

It is only the second time that the Knicks have been the favorites of the East Finale series since 1975, as the history of the athletes. The other time New York was preferred in 1994 when the Knicks -200 favorites were against the Pacers and won in seven games. New York lost the NBA final this year in seven games against the Houston Rockets.

The Knicks have reached the conference final five times in the past 50 years, and four of these matchups are against Indiana. New York won two of the previous three series.

This is the first time that the Knicks have had a lead in the conference in a conference final series since 1994.

New York opened in game 1 as a 4.5-point home favorite with a total of 222.5.
