SAPD, crime stopper who search for suspects in connection with the shooting of the SaISD student

SAN ANTONIO – The police authority of San Antonio and Crime Stopers are looking for a suspect in connection with the death of a student in San Antonio.

According to the police, Simon Cuevas III, 14, went home on Wednesday, April 16, at 2 p.m. in the streets of South Elmendorf and Merida from the Brewer Academy when he was attacked by five people.

One of the suspects shot Cuevas, the police said.

According to the medical examiner's office, Cuevas died of the gunshot wound. His death was ruled as a murder.

No arrests were made in his death.

On Saturday, SAPD and Crime Stopper's Stopers published photos and video of a person who “was present at the time of the murder”.

“The person was seen when he arrived with the other suspects and flees,” said the police.

SAPD and crime stopers are looking for the help of the public to identify the suspect shown on photo and video.

Crime stopper can pay up to 5,000 US dollars for information that leads to arrests in this crime. In order to calculate a reward, tips must be submitted to Crime Stopper.
