Highlights: Oscar Piatri Pips Max Verstappen to Pole in Imola, while the red flags disturb the qualifications

Oscar Piatri claimed his third pole position of the season for the Grand Prix of Emilia-Romagna, Max Verstappen and George Russell disturbed two red flags, an incident qualifying.

The current championship leader of the driver, who won the last three Grands Prix, took 1m 14,670s with his last efforts, although he had not improved in the last sector after complaining about the traffic.

Verstappen dropped only by 0.034 seconds when Russell took the second McLaren from Lando Norris to third place after using a medium tire set when the drivers had difficulty getting the soft C6 tires for the entire LAP around the autodromo -internal -interna -internal internal ferrari circuit.

The opening Q1 session was red twice, after accidents for Yuki Tsunoda, the Japanese driver who rolled his red bull at the Villeneuve Chicane, and the returning Franco Colapinto, who hit the barrier in his Alps in the Tamburello Chicane.
