Israel's air strikes on Yemens infrastructure are an open war crime

The spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that the Israeli regime's air raids are a “blatant war crime and crime against humanity” in relation to the economic infrastructure of Yemen and public institutions.

In a statement on Saturday, Esmaeil Baghaei expressly condemned the Israeli regime's air strikes for important Yemeni ports.

He added that the attacks on the Yemeni ports of Hudaydah, Ras Isa and Salif represent a gross violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations.

At least one person was killed and nine others were injured in a series of Israeli air raids against positions in the strategic western province of Yemen in Hudaydah.

The Yemeni health authorities stated that all victims were port workers and warned that the number of fatalities could increase.

“The Muslim world must recognize its moral and legal responsibility and increase against expansionism and the warm formation of the Zionist regime and confront the regime's tyranny with unity and solidarity,” he added.

In a statement on Friday, the Jemen Foreign Ministry sentenced the repeated attacks of the Israeli regime against the ports of the country's ports and said that these attacks were fulfilled with a painful reaction.
