Google is preparing for the start of Flow, AI -Video editor at I/O 2025

Google is preparing to present a new experimental product called Flow at the upcoming Google I/O event, probably on May 20. The function was recently proposed in Google Labs with the slogan “Inspire your Inner Storyteller by generating videos” on a tool that aims at creative video production. Early testers have discovered this option and is likely to refer to a new video editor that is operated by Google's Veo and image models. In both models, you are expected to receive new versions, VEO 3 and image 4 at the same event.

Last year Google Videofx presented during the E/A, which initially contained a function called storyboard. It enabled users to generate a number of images, with each image being converted into a video later. Before this function was widespread, storyboard was removed, and VideofX focused exclusively on creating individual videos from text or image requests. It now seems that Google has extracted the storyboard concept in a new independent product: flow.

Although the final feature set is not yet clear, the flow will probably resemble the former storyboard. Users can describe a narrative, create pictures with image and then transform them into video segments with VEO. This type of structured creativity would address storytellers, educators, marketers and other creators who are looking for a guided opportunity to produce content.

In view of the fact that the river has been in development in Google AI Labs for over a year and has already appeared for some users in laboratories, there is a great chance that it will be issued shortly according to Google I/A.
