Federal Way Shooting lets teen dead, child wounded; Suspicer to a large extent

An 18-year-old man was shot, and an 11-year-old child was wounded on Saturday morning on Saturday morning, the police said.

The shootout took place in an apartment complex in the 32100 block of the 18th Avenue Southwest around 1:20 a.m.

When the police arrived, they provided first aid to the 18-year-old until doctors arrived.

“During his time, the officials found that an 11-year-old child had been hit by a stray ball in a neighboring apartment in a neighboring apartment,” said the Federal Way police in a press release. “The child was transported by doctors to HarborView and is said to be in a stable state.”

The 18-year-old died.

The police said the suspect and the victim knew each other, and the public is not considered in danger.

“In this phase of the investigation, it is assumed that the incident was created as a situation of domestic violence in which the victim and his ex-girlfriend was involved,” says the press release. “There was an argument between the two parties, which ultimately led to the shootings.”

Detectives are actively looking for the suspect who has fled in a vehicle.
