Woman who was killed after the roof of the church roof during the Tornado strike in St. Louis

St. Louis – Seven people were killed after a tornado was broken by parts of Missouri on Friday evening, with five of these deaths came from St. Louis alone.

One of these lost life was a 70-year-old woman, the moderator in the Centennial Christian Church in the Fountain Park district of the Northwest St. Louis, who scored a direct goal from the storm.

The Tornado banged into the church, fell part of his roof and catch people who protect under the ruins. The film material of the church after the storm shows parts of its roof completely disappeared and red brick from its walls that scatter the front lawn.

“It can be heard that someone died of the church,” Maurice Jones, in St. Louis, told Fox Weather. “We all only try to bring life together again at this point.”

Dozens of other houses nearby could be seen without their roofs that expose the families to the elements. According to Cara Spencer, Mayor of St. Louis, they were part of at least 5,000 houses in St. Louis who experienced a storm damage.

“The area is difficult to call it up, and I really don't know how to recover from it,” said Jones to Katie Byrne, the correspondent of the Fox Weather.

Jones described the moment when he tried to look for protection against the storm and also said that his home suffered damage.

“I went to the background of my house. My door was literally sucked out of my hand and I was able to drop my kitchen roof in a moment,” he said.

Many families not only lost their houses, they also strive to find food because the storm broke out and spoil the food because freezers and refrigerators could no longer work.

For those whose houses no longer have roofs, they need to plan to cover what they have left of their houses.

“It is emotional. I don't really know what to say, but it's difficult,” said the member of the parishion Andre Andre Branyon to Byrne. “This is difficult here. I can see what people do. It's difficult.”

He added that this is the first time that he experienced this type of devastation through a storm.

“I don't really know what to say. I'm just hurt,” said Branyon.
