In ARC: Tre Johnson turns the heads at the NBA Draft Combine

The Texas security guard Tre Johnson tested Combine in the NBA draft in Chicago well and stabbed both physical and in the shooting exercises. Johnson measure 6-foot 5 barefoot, 190.4 pounds, with a 6-foot 10 wing span and an 8-foot 5 range. In Combine Drills he recorded a vertical jump of 37.5 inches, scored 68 percent of his total jumpers, ran the lane agility drill in 10.49 seconds and achieved an 8-foot 2 range. It must be said with certainty that Johnson caused a positive sensation at the beginning of his design process.

Johnson won the SEC newcomer of the year in 2025, after scoring an average of 20.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game and losing 39 percent from beyond the ARC last season. After the combine harvester, Johnson rated up at both waxations and made the combination of 91.9 points at Point Guard and 76.1 at Shooting Guard.

I spoke to several experts from NBA Draft, including the NBA design analyst Babcock Hoops, and after the NBA design of the draft plot, discussed his first thoughts on Johnson's shares.

“Everything is playing for Tre Johnson this week,” said Babcock. “He measured at 6-foot 5 and 190 pounds, and the design that fulfills after the lottery after the lottery.

When I asked another analyst how Johnson looked at the combine harvester, he said: “He looks very much like a top-eight selection … I think three to eight are likely for him.”

According to Josh Robbins, Tre Johnson met Boston Celtics, Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks and Toronto Raptors at the NBA Draft Combine.
