One that was killed in West Charlotte overnight, says the police, says the police

Charlotte, NC (WBTV) – According to the police department of Charlotte -Mecklenburg, one person was killed in West Charlotte at a shootout early Saturday morning.

The police said the shootout occurred shortly before 3 a.m. on Freedom Drive on Camp Greene Street.

When officials arrived, they found a person with gunshot wounds in the parking lot. They died on site.

The shooting of the shootout continues. Anyone who has information about the shootout should call 704-432-8477 and speak directly to a detective for murder units. Det. Pearson is the main detective that is assigned to this shootout. People can also leave information anonymously by calling crime stopers at 704-334-1600 or leaving a tip online.
