The background story:

Five additional men are calculated in connection with a prostitution ring. This happened after a former Milwaukee defender was accused of representing someone for whom he paid sex.

The new charges are submitted against the following:

  • 50-year-old David Ornstein, a firefighter of Milwaukee
  • The 76-year-old George Easton, a retired city judge in Kenosha County
  • The 53-year-old Leroy Stewart, a funeral home in Oak Creek
  • 55-year-old Christopher Reigg
  • 59-year-old William Green

According to the prosecutor, a prostitution ring from a residential building near 29 and Kilbourn has been working for years. In 2022, a woman from the Milwaukee police reported. The same woman was later convicted of prostitution – her lawyer said she was the victim of sex trade.

The public prosecutor says that Ornstein, a firefighter, exchanged texts with prostitutes with whom he met. Milwaukee's fire chief, Aaron Lipski, said that he was aware of the accusation – and hired an internal investigation.

The investigators say that Stewart runs a funeral home in OAK Creek. Text messages show that he exchanged money for sex every two to three weeks.

Reigg told the police that he was being blackmailed. Prosecutors say that he was committed once a week from 2021 to 2023 prostitution.

Green told the police that he spent time in the Kilbourn apartment that he should take a break from his wife. The police say his telephone records show text messages that match prostitution.

Easton, a retired judge in Kenosha County, told the investigators that he paid $ 200 an hour to take part in prostitution.

All of this is part of the same examination in which the 54-year-old Travis Schwantes is charged. The former criminal defense lawyer is faced with several criminal offenses-imposed on the defect by falsification of records. He is also accused of representing someone that he has paid money for sex.
