Chicago Crime: Woman who was arrested for Rogers Park

Chicago (WLS) – A woman was arrested after having supposedly stabbed a 7-year-old boy in a house in the north side on Saturday morning, the Chicago police said.

A 26-year-old woman took out a sharp object and stabbed the boy, the police said.

The victim was brought to the Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago in fair state.

The officers took the woman in custody, and the indictment is pending, the police said.

Three detectives in the area. The police did not immediately provide further information about the stab.
