Trump asks Walmart to eat the tariffs after the retailer says that prices could rise

He asked Walmart, the country's largest retailer, to “eat the tariffs” and to keep prices low. “I'll watch and her customers too,” he wrote.

Mr. Trump's attempt to harass Walmart to keep his prices stable came when the president, who campaigned for a promise to prevent inflation, works to prevent his turbulent trading policy from increasing prices.
