Pronghorn illegally killed near Kemmerer

Kemmerer – The Wyoming Game and Fish Department is looking for information about 12 Pronghorn antelopes that have been shot illegally and waste north of Kemmerer in Antelope Hunt Area 93.

Kemmerer Game Warten Alex Poncelet received a report from someone on April 27 who discovered the dead Pronghorn when he replied on the fork road of the Hams north of the Viva Naughton Reservoir. The investigation showed that the shootout took place between the afternoon of April 26 and on the morning of April 27th. Some of the prong horn had to be put to sleep by the players.

People with information about this incident or people who may have been in the area and suspected vehicles and activities are asked to call Kemmerer Game Warten Alex Poncelet at 307-877-3278, the Green River game and the fish office of 307-875-3223 or the stop-wear on 1-8777-WGfD-TIP. The callers remain anonymous and information that leads to an arrest and conviction can be justified by the Wyoming Wildlife Protectors' Association.
