Riverdale Police ID woman who was killed in the apartment

Riverdale, Utah, May 17, 2025 (Gephardt Daily)-A police officer of Riverdale has confirmed that Gephardt Daily has stabbed the woman in her apartment on Thursday, 33-year-old Stacey Nichole Scott.

In this case, Scott Thomas Myers was arrested, who was imprisoned hours after the incident to investigate the alleged examination:

  • Murder, listed as a first degree crime
  • Heavy attack, a third degree crime
  • Ownership of controlled substances Schedule I/II/analog, a crime of third degree
  • Default to stop at the command of law enforcement, a class -a offense
  • Prohibition of the dangerous weapons, category II, a crime of class A
  • Mixing from a peace officer, a class B's offense

The police were called to the scene at 2:28 a.m. Pmthursday, a Greenville in the Riverdal apartment Unit. The officers broke off the closed door, and Stacey Scott was found inside with critical injuries, including stab wounds and cuts to their upper body and breast.

Life -saving attempts were unsuccessful, say the arrest documents. A large knife with blood blood was found near Scott's corpse, as well as a ID card from Scott Myers, according to his arrest documents.

A rear window was open and it is assumed how Myers fled from the apartment. A Bolo (on which viewpoints) was granted, and officials from the Sheriff office of the Morgan County and the Roy City Police Department found Myers on the viaduct in about 600 west.

“Scott was uncooperative with them, which meant that he initially fled and then resisted the arrest,” says his affidavit. “The arrest was carried out using a taser.

“Scott (Myers) wore a dark shirt, pants, socks and shoes at that time. When looking at Scott's clothing, he had dirty/mud and possibly blood on his clothes and shoes.”

Court documents say that Myers had been arrested at 8:05 p.m.

Myers “was ultimately brought to the Ormc (OGDEN Regional Medical Center) to evaluate before he was brought to our office for an interview.”

Myers refused to speak to the police without a lawyer being present.

“The EMS staff has announced that Scott had admitted both meth and fentanyl use for them.”

The most important witness in the case that the police identified as “VR” told the investigators that he had been with Stacey Scott when they had driven into their apartment.

“During his time in the apartment, VR reported that (he) played a game when he heard excitement. VR reported that when he looked, he was watching Scott (Myers) on SNS (Stacey Scott) and stuck her with a knife.

“VR advised that he stepped on Scott and prompted him to physically intervene. This led to Scott VR started with a knife and even advanced on it while he held the knife.

“VR reported that he had fled out of the apartment to get a baseball bat out of his vehicle and return to the apartment. After his return to the apartment, VR reported that Scott was now in the door of the apartment. VR explained at that time, Schottte and closed the front door when VR tried to get into the apartment in the apartment to help SNS, but was unknown.

“VR reported during an interview that he believed that Scott and SNS were previously in a relationship.”

Myers was instructed in the correctional facility in Weber County, where he is recorded without deposit.
