Jared Gordon achieved the greatest victory of his career (Sat., May 17th, 2025) at UFC Vegas 106 live on this evening ESPN+ From the inside of the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, and a brutal stop to the light veteran Thiago Moises with a knockout in the first round.

It was expected that this was one of the best “prelim” matchups of the night and for good reason. Gordon is an audience pulber who pushes the pace every step of the way, while Moises punishes leg kicks and a first -class floor game. It was a nice pairing and one that was hopeful to end in a finish.

Unfortunately for Moises, this finish came at this cost. Gordon showed little respect for Moises' floor play in the early context with a timely takedown. “Flash” was unable to land a lot of volume from the upper position, but in the eyes of the judges it was still a good look.
