Minnesota Twins brought Byron Buxton on a list injured on a concussion

Milwaukee-and Fielden from Minnesota Twins Center Byron Buxton joined the 7-day crew of the brain with Shortstop Carlos Correa after the teammates hunted a flat fly ball in a game on Thursday afternoon against Baltimore Orioles.

Buxton was put on the injured list before the twins in Milwaukee. Correa had been added to the injured list a day before.

“There is a reason why this is the kind of injury that we have this kind of protocols -many steps and releases that you have to go through,” said Twins manager Rocco Baldelli before the game on Saturday before Buxons Change was announced to the list of brain. “Because there is no easy way to diagnose, treat and monitor. They have to be thoughtful.”

In the third inning of the 4-0 win of the twins on Thursday, Correa pulled back into the outfield grass for the ball while Buxon drove in, and seemed to be demanding in the last second before they hit their heads. Bench trainer Jayce Tingler, who was filled out for Baldelli because of an illness, stated after the game that the crowd noise hindered her communication during the game.

Buxton was limited for a large part of his career by injuries – his 102 games last year had been his highest total since 2017 – but had performed in 41 of the first 44 games from Minnesota before this collision. The 31-year-old beats .261 with a percentage of 0.312, 10 Homern, 27 RBIs and eight steals.

The 30-year-old Correa had missed three games this season before the collision-all planned rest day after being limited to 86 games for plantar fascititis on his right foot last season. Correa, a three-time all-star, meets 0.236 this season with a share of 0.274, two Homern and 13 RBIs.

For a second game in a row, Dashawn Keirsey Jr. started on Buxton's Place in Center Field and Brooks Lee filled Correa in Shortstop. The Utilityan Willi Castro was outside the starting line-up on Saturday after he braided a ball from his right knee a night earlier in a 3-0 win in Milwaukee, which recorded the 12th victory of the twins.
