A JL partner survey of the given New York Post found that 46 percent of the respondents would support Vance, which made him the only potential candidate with double -digit support.

The GOV. -Gouperner from Florida, Ron Desantis, took 8 percent in a distant second place, followed by OHIO, followed by Ohio, Vivek Ramaswamy with 7 percent. Foreign Minister Marco Rubio and the Senator of Texas, Ted Cruz, each received 6 percent and the former governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley 5 percent.

Governor Josh Shapiro from Pennsylvania and Gavin Newsom from California were each 7 percent.

The survey did not consider the 78 -year -old Trump to be potential Republican candidates. He is called out of office in January 2029, but he and his narrow allies have signaled that he could try to avoid the constitution and run for an office a third time.

The 40-year-old Vance fully assumed his place in Maga, although he once loathed Trump and described the then candidate “America's Hitler” in 2016. He was recently a convinced Trump defender and had his loyalty last summer, just two years after the first time to be elected to the public office for the first time.

The 46 -year -old Desantis fell out of favor with Trump in 2023 when he campaigned against him in a republican primary school. He may be the most popular candidate for conservatives who do not want the Maga movement to be continued for another four years.

The 53 -year -old Rubio competed against Trump in the Republican in 2016 and was referred to by the current president as “Little Marco”. Rubio and Trump have become close allies since then, and the ex-senator from Florida reported on Trump's VP shortlist last summer. He is firmly embedded in Maga as a top official in the Trump administration, but he is not as bombastic as Trump, Vance or even Desantis.

Trump said in March that Maga's future looked “so strong”, with Rubio and Vance being the early favorites in order to maintain the priority time of the President in the primary time.

“You look at Marco, you look at JD Vance, who is fantastic” Meet the press. “You look at – I could call 10, 15, 20 people at the moment. No, no, I think we have an enormous party.”
