After an accident on Saturday morning on the Keene Road in Antrim in Antrim, two drivers from passing saved a driver from a burning car.

The police said that the department reacted to an accident with a single vehicle around 4:15 a.m. After leaving the street, the police said that the vehicle had rolled several times before it hit a large rock and a tree and came to rest on its passenger side.

Shortly after the vehicle had caught fire, two drivers passing passed the rapid driver before it was completely devoured in flames. According to Antrim Fire & Ambulance, there were several explosions from the vehicle with ammunition and propanzy cylinder inside. The fuel line to the vehicle also broke. A tanker was requested by Hillsboro Fire for a backup water supply.

The driver was brought to the Concord Hospital to investigate non -life -threatening injuries.

Police state that a preliminary investigation concludes that speed and alcohol are crashed and an examination has not yet been completed. The road was closed for about two hours while the fire was deleted and the vehicle was recovered.

The Antrim Fire & Ambulance police authority, Hillsboro, the Henniker police department, the Hillsboro fire brigade and Mikes Towing & Recovery, was supported by Antrim Fire & Ambulance.
