Mark Scheifele to play for jet after the death of his father

Mark Scheifele, the Winnipeg Jets Center, will play against the Dalla's stars in game 6 of the second round on Saturday evening, after telling the sudden death of his father before the game on Saturday.

“First of all, on behalf of the Winnipeg Jets, our family, our condolences to Mark and his family,” said Arniel. “We rocked all the morning all the morning when we found it out. Mark will play tonight. As he said, that would be his wishes of his father and he would want to play. He had always rooted us here and hard.

“We used to see him in the St. Louis series. He is with us. And Mark really wants to play for him tonight.”

Scheifele's father died unexpectedly on Friday evening and initially noticed Scheifele's status for game 6.

“As an organization, we do everything we can to support him and give his family our most sincerely condolences. And of course they ask that everyone respects their and their families privacy at the time,” said Jets General Manager Kevin Chevelayoff before the morning closing on Saturday.

The jets will try to ward off the elimination again because they have the stars in the series 3-2. Scheifele, who scored a goal in the game 5 of the Jets -5 win and will play with a heavy heart with a heavy heart in Dallas, with a heavy heart.
