The NBA trade idea sends Lakers 186 million star for Austin Reaves

Although the Los Angeles Lakers had made a change for the young superstar Luka Doncic, they had far behind expectations in this year's playoffs. Under the direction of Doncic and LeBron James, the Lakers still lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round.

After the Lakers Anthony Davis exchanged away to acquire Doncic, they had a gaping hole on their front square, which ultimately cost her season, and now her priority outside the season is obvious. The Lakers urgently need a new center and reports they are ready to separate from Austin Reaves from Strising Star Guard to get there.

According to the Lakers, the Lakers will only act outside of Austin if it is for a Star Big Man, according to Dan Woike von Los Angeles Times.

“[Austin Reaves is] Not considered “tireless” because almost nobody in the NBA is inexplicable. But if the Lakers exchange it for a center, they want one that is fundamentally important-a type of building and no filling towards the obvious needs that they have in the center (and must approach in other way), ”wrote Woike.

There are not many elite -sized men on the market, but if they are looking for a star that is together next to Doncic and James, they could look within the division.

The Star Domantas Sabonis of Sacramento Kings could be on the market this low season, with the new general manager Scott Perry leading the franchise, and the Lakers could be a potential buyer for the three-time all-star. In this blockbuster trade idea, the kings Sabonis send to the Lakers for Reaves and a handful of valuable assets.

In this deal, the Kings go with the 26-year-old Lakers Guard, who brought his game to the next level this season. In his fourth year, the Reaves achieved an average of 20.2 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.1 steals per game with 46.0/37.7/87.7 shooting columns.

Together with Reaves, the kings receive two valuable wing defenders in Rui Hachimura and Dorian Finney-Smith. New GM Scott Perry has made itself a priority to give length and athletics to the scope in this low season, and this trade would give him together with a valuable playmaker in Reaves.

Sabonis may not be the exact center for which the Lakers are looking for, but the two-time all-NBA Big Man is a proven star in this league and could be a great piece alongside Doncic and James. This season, Sabonis scored an average of 19.1 points, 13.9 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game with 59.0/41.7/75.4 shooting spreads.

James appears in his 23 year in the NBA, and Doncic cannot do everything on the offensive. A big man who can be a playmaker and an inner presence can be ideal.

Of course, a trade like this with some rotating parts would probably be much more complicated, but a deal that focuses on a Sabonis-against-Reaves exchange could benefit both sides to justify an in-division trade.
