Las Vega's wife killed in the event of an accident on State Route 163 near Laughlin

A fatal crash on State Route 163 claimed a woman's life in Las Vegas on Sunday afternoon.

At 3:17 p.m., the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol reacted to an accident near Mile Marker 8, about 96 miles southeast of Las Vegas.

Preliminary investigations showed that a white Dodge Durango from 2005 drove to the east on the motorway when the driver moved too quickly for the conditions while negotiating a curve.

The vehicle entered the midfield median, and an over -correction turned it clockwise, stepped back into the street and crossed the lanes in the east.

The dodge changed to the right of the street, overturned a field shoulder and rested on his bikes in the desert area south of the highway.

Tierra Taylor Haywood, a 31-year-old passenger from Las Vegas, was expelled from the vehicle and declared dead at the crime scene.

At the time of the crash, she was not wearing a seat belt.

The driver and other residents of the vehicle were brought to a local hospital to treat their injuries.

The Nevada State Police Highway Patrol further examines this crash.
