One who was explosion in the California Fertility Clinic, which FBI described as “act of terrorism”, called the FBI “terrorism”.

An explosion tore through a fertility clinic in the upscale city of Palm Springs in California and had a person as the suspect in an attack that the FBI described as terrorism.

In the parking lot behind the clinic, after the explosion that broke into the roof of the building, rubble over a five -lane road and smashed windows in companies that were removed in the blockades were seen in the parking lot behind the clinic. The clinic was closed for the weekend, and the doctor who heads it said her employees were safe.

“Don't make a mistake: this is an intentional act of terrorism,” said Akil Davis, head of the FBI field office in Los Angeles, an evening conference. He declined how the authorities were drawn to this conclusion.

A law enforcement officer said that the investigators had recovered a AK-47-style rifle from the scene.

The authorities were still working to confirm the identity of the person killed, said Davis. Four people were injured, but the authorities did not state any details about the seriousness of these injuries, as they performed or where. Davis said that the law enforcement authorities also examined the possibility that the explosion is livestream.

According to two other law enforcement officers who were informed about the matter that insisted on anonymity, the law was to discuss preliminary information from an ongoing examination.

The explosion lined the fertility clinic of the American reproductive centers in a one -story building along a five -lane road with palm trees. Dr. Maher Abdallah, who heads the clinic, said that the explosion had damaged the office space of the practice, where it conducts consultations with patients. The IVF laboratory of the clinic and the stored embryos are outside the place and were not damaged.

“Thank God today was a day when we have no patients,” said Abdallah.

The mayor of Palm Springs, per tem naomi Soto, called the clinic “a place of hope”.

“This is a building in which people go to start or expand their families,” she said. “We recognize their pain and concern in the community for patients and employees.”

The Trump government condemned the attack.

“The Trump government understands that women and mothers are America's heartbeat,” said Attorney General Pam Bondi in a statement. “Violence against a fertility clinic is unforgivable.”
