Jets QB Jordan Travis withdraws because of an injury to football

Jordan Travis' game days came to an early end.

The jet quarterback, a choice in the fifth round in Florida's NFL design from Florida, announced his resignation from football due to a cruel leg injury on November 18, 2023.

“On November 18, 2023, my life took an unexpected turn,” Travis wrote in a explanation on social media. “I gave everything I had, the rehab process, but despite all efforts, my leg never reacted as we hoped. After a lot of prayer and advice with the doctors, medical experts and my agent, I was medically withdrawing from the game that I love so deep.”

Travis, a four-year-old starter and seminol record holder, has never had the chance to be the prospect of the development of dual threats that the team had presented.

He campaigned during the rookie-minicamp and was then placed on the list of injuries in non-football in July.

The team will put him in the list of reserve/pensioners.

“Jordan informed us about his intention due to the injury he suffered in the state of Florida, to retire,” said GM Darren Mougey in an explanation. “It is unfortunate that he could not return to the field after so hard. We support his decision and wish him only the best.”
