Coroner County County identifies pedestrians who were killed in hit-and-run

Oconee County, SC (Fox Carolina) -The Coroner's Office of the Oconee County said it examined a fatal hit and run.

The forensic doctor said that the incident is said to have taken place on Thursday evening around 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

The forensic doctor said Bryan Alexander Devries was reported to be missing on Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m. in the Sheriff office.

Devries worked in the dollar General Store and, according to the forensic doctor, routinely went to his house in the Keowee Key community.

The forensic doctor said that Devries was last left at 10 p.m. on Thursday evening. According to the forensic doctor's report, an employee of the victim's father contacted and said that Devries had not been to work for two days.

Officials said a patron of the patrol searched the street between the shop and Keowee Key when he discovered Devries on Saturday around 7:20 p.m.

The Oconee County Sheriff's Office, the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Coroner's Office examine this incident as a hit-and-run.

An autopsy is planned for Monday.
