Mark Scheifele from Jets plays game 6 against stars after the father's death, points opening goal

The Winnipeg Jets had the Star Center Mark Scheifele in the line-up for game 6 of the second round of the team against the Dallas Stars after the death of his father and achieved the goal opening destination in a possible 2: 1 loss of overtime.

The General Manager of Jets, Kevin Cheveldayoff, confirmed to the reporters on Saturday that Scheifele's father Brad died unexpectedly on Friday evening.

Jets coach Scott Arniel later announced that Scheifele would play.
