NDSU wins the regular season finale and earned 2-setting at the Summit League tournament

Fargo, ND (Valley News Live) – The North Dakota St. Bison drove to victory in her last game of the regular season on Saturday and threw the Omaha Mavericks 12-2 in Seven Inning.

It was the only game of the weekend in a three-game series, but the first two competitions were canceled due to weather.

Ndsu started with a Davis Hamilton RBI-Single in the first inning, followed by a cross-climbing second inning at Run Scoring-Singles by Jake Schaffner and Dante Smith.

Bison led 5-2 into the bottom of the sixth inning when they took the game away.

They achieved six runs within the framework, which Luis Garcia covered by a two-run triple to take over an 11-2 lead. Bison scored another run in the seventh to end the victory.

With this victory, NDSU won the 2-seeds at the Summit League Baseball tournament next week.

The double elimination clip again provides the bison against the Mavericks for the first game of the tournament with first place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Omaha.
