Woman killed, man in Philadelphia Double Shooting: Police

PHILADELPHIA – – A woman is dead and a man fights for his life after the police said they were both shot in Philadelphia on Wednesday morning.

The shootout occurred on the 1500 block of the East Luzzern Street in Philadelphia's neighborhood of Juniata Park, says the police.

No arrests were reported.

What we know:

Officials from the Philadelphia police department were called to report on a shootout at 9:30 a.m. in the 1500 Block of the E. Luzzen Street.

The police found a man and a woman who both suffered from gunshot wounds, and brought them to the Temple University Hospital.

The investigators say that the female victim in the hospital was declared dead and that the man was still treated for several gunshot wounds.

No arrests were reported by the police immediately after the fatal double shots.

What we don't know:

The police say that nobody is in custody in the deadly shootout and they have not given a description of a possible suspect.
