The Racine family has accidentally mourned and killed by siblings with the 11-year-old

Racine, Wis.-a Racine family is with a broken heart after an 11-year-old boy was shot on Friday, May 17th.

Relatives identified the victim as a 11-year-old Jesus “Chucho” Valladares, a fifth grader who remembered his energy, friendliness and love for outside.

“Always play outside, full of life,” said cousin Dolores Villarreal. “He was always ready to help my grandma because we recently lost our grandpa eight months ago. It was difficult, but he was always there to help.”

Jesus Valladares was accidentally shot and killed by his 16-year-old brother in Racine.

Racine's police said that the shootout occurred on May 16 at 10:33 p.m. in a house in the 2600 block of Prospect Street. The investigators said that family members took Valladares to the hospital, where he died of his injuries.

“So that this happens so suddenly, it is very heartbreaking for all of us,” said Villarreal in tears.

Preliminary information show that Valladares was accidentally shot by a sibling. Family confirmed that it was Valladares '16-year-old brother.

“We didn't even know that he had a gun,” said Aunt Dolores from Valldares. “Because of a decision to wear a weapon, it will affect him for the rest of his life.”

The Racine Police said that she had arrested the sibling, a loss from the family.

“We are died without two nephews – and the other does not know what the result will look like,” said Dolores.

On Saturday a monument to balloons and candles appeared in the family's front levels. Neighbors said the block was usually filled with children and activities.

“I'm not tight with him or anything, but in this substitute moments you see the child and try to do what you can do,” said the neighbor Zyshawn Swanagan, who once gave Valladares an old Playstation.

While they mourn, the von Valladares family shared a plea to make it difficult for children to make access to weapons.

“These children think weapons are a game,” she added. “But how many lives have been lost? People have to take access to weapons seriously and cease it for children to make them so easy, to get them. Please try to raise young children.”

The family has created a Gofundme page to cover Chucho's funeral costs.

The Wadewitz primary school PTA confirmed that Valladares was a school student in a social media contribution.

“This child was a student at our school. Our deepest condolences to his family has changed forever through this incident. We will provide further information if we have how we can support this family and our school community affected by this tragedy.”

A city of Racine Alderman, Henry Perez, told TMJ4, that he will later be working on starting a youth security program this year. More details.
