Jets QB Jordan Travis retired because of an injury '23 during the FSU in retirement

Jordan Travis, Quarterback from New York Jets, a fifth round in 2024, told the team on Wednesday that he would retire.

The 24 -year -old Travis cited ongoing complications of a violation of the left leg during his last game in the state of Florida.

“On November 18, 2023, my life took an unexpected turn,” said Travis in a statement. “I gave everything I had, the rehab process, but despite all efforts, my leg never reacted as we hoped. After a lot of prayer and advice with the doctors, medical experts and my agent, I was medically withdrawing from the game that I love so deep.”

The jets said Travis were put in the list of reserve/retirement.

“Jordan informed us about his intention, due to the injury he suffered in the state of Florida, to retire,” said General Manager Darren Mougey in a statement. “It is unfortunate that he could not return to the field after so hard. We support his decision and wish him only the best.”
