Motorcyclist identified in the fatal LR crash

A crash, in which a motorcyclist was killed in Little Rock on Thursday, had a woman and a child injured in another vehicle and, according to a preliminary report by the Little Rock Police, occurred a red light.

The 27 -year -old Kenneth Overstreet from Shannon Hills was killed on Thursday at around 10:45 a.m. when he headed a red light on John Barrow Road and Markham Street with a Kawasaki motorcycle from 1999 and hit a Cadillac to John Barrow Road from 2013, the report says.

The driver of the Cadillac, 48-year-old Lajessica Mayo from Mabelvale and a child who was in the Cadillac passenger, were injured in the crash, the report said. They were taken to a hospital for treatment.

An official who examined the crash reported that the weather was clear and the road was dry at that time.
