The recall of Ford Oil Lact concerns 3.5-liter GTDI engines

Oil leaks cause recall from Ford F-150, Ford Expedition and Lincoln navigator vehicles.

-For more than 4,100 vehicles, which are equipped with 3.5 -l -GTDI engines, a Ford -Oil -Bel -leck recall was announced.

The right is 2024-2025 Ford F-150, 2024-2025 Ford Expedition and 2024 Lincoln Navigator vehicles with incorrectly oriented engine mug plugs with which oil can expire quickly.

According to Ford:

“The engine cup -stick hydraulic insertion press was wrongly aligned, which led to a cup plug distortion during assembly and a reduction in the interface retention of the cup stuff to the cylinder head bore.”

A driver can see a warning lamp with low oil pressure and experience a reduced engine power.

A fire is very possible when a leaky oil meets hot exhaust or motor components and oil that looks quick, starve the engine and lead to standing up.

Ford was already in front of this street when a separate recall for oil leaks was issued in December 2024.

Ford expects to mix oil -clever recall letters on May 26, 2025, and the dealers inspect the 13 mm cylinder head plug (holes 431 and 641) and replace the plugs if necessary.

Ford owners with concerns can call 866-436-7332 and refer to the number 25S30 for oil leaks.
