Imam Reza Graphic Festival emphasizes resistance and solidarity with Palestine

The main focus of the work of the works' assessment process took part in the 9th edition of the Imam Reza graphics festival, the fight against oppression, the confrontation of imperialism and the defense of the oppressed- especially the population of Gaza, one of the organizers who was announced.

In previous editions, the topics were mainly about the friendliness of Imam Reza (AS), but in the ninth edition, attention has been shifted to other aspects of his legacy, in particular resistance to injustice, opposition to imperialism and defense of the oppressed, said Seyyed Masoud Shojai Tabatabai.

An aspect that is often overlooked in visual arts and graphic design in this festival is the dimension of the struggle and the advocacy representation, which is present in Imam Reza's life, which can be analyzed by several lenses.

He added that the festival's political decision -making council considerably on the topics of Gaza strip, the oppressed and the fight against oppression, agreed with the aim of presenting the justice of the Palestinian and Gazan.

The representation of Israel as a despised, racist regime has gained recognition worldwide and even mentioned unexpected places such as Harvard University and various parts of the world.

This global consensus underlines the legitimacy of the Palestinian cause and has made the defense of the Palestinians a priority in the festival's artistic discourse, he said.

In this issue, innovation, novelty and creativity in the topics of resistance and struggle against injustice are highly valued in this issue, he concluded.

The festival aims to promote works of art that not only convey powerful messages, but also show originality and artistic ingenuity in combating contemporary struggles against oppression.

The International Festival of Imam Reza (AS) takes place annually in various provinces in the country and in several other countries.

This festival includes various fields such as articles, plays, plays or scripts, produced shows, stories, visual arts, books, literary texts, poems, press and digital work as well as radio and television productions.

The festival will end on May 9 in Mashhad, which marks the birthday of Imam Reza (AS).
