Chicago Crime: FBI is looking for suspects in 3 attempted bank robberies

The FBI offers a reward of 1,000 US dollars for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of a suspect who tried to rob three banks from the north in the past week.

What we know:

According to FBI, the suspect was most recently wore by a dark baseball cap, a white shirt, a black zip-up hoodie, black shorts and dark shoes.

He was described as a white man who was about 5-foot 4 to 5-foot 5 with a light building.

In every incident he gave a note that asked for money and implied that he had a pistol. No injuries were reported. The suspect then fled on foot.

The attempted bank robberies took place in three banks, including:

  • Around 9:51 a.m. on May 9th in the fifth third bank on 5918 North Broadway in Edewer
  • Around 9:27 a.m. on May 14th in the US bank in 5340 North Clark in Andersonville
  • Around 9:29 a.m. on May 15th in the fifth third bank in 2973 North Milwaukee in Avondale
