3 killed, others injured at the shootout overnight in Macon, says Sheriff's Office

Macon, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – Three people were killed and others were injured at one night in a bar in Macon, according to the Bibb County.

The MPs responded to the Midtown Daiquiri Bar & Grill in the 4376 Block Cabin Dr., after the shootout was called to the Macon-Bibb Emergency 911 Center around midnight.

According to the Sheriff's office, “the MPs discovered several victims who suffered from gunshot wounds” when they made it to the scene. The paramedics also reacted to the scene and brought the victims to a hospital for treatment, while three victims were taken to the hospital with a personal vehicle.

Bibb County's forensic doctor, Leon Jones, told the MPs that three people were dead at the scene. The names of the victims are published when the next relative is notified.

At this point, a possible suspect was not given a word because the sheriff's office examines the case.
