Actor Jeremy Renner describes Tahoe Near Death experience in new memoirs

The Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner was as close to death as you can get my next breath in his new memoir after his 2023-snow accident in Tahoe-and he could actually have died briefly.

Jeremy Renner was almost fatal in 2023 on New Year's Day in 2023 when he was run over by a 14,000 pist of slope bully snow plow. At that time he tried to save his 27-year-old nephew Alex Pommes from the plow and tried to climb him to prevent the accident from occurring.

He broke over 30 bones, but ultimately recovered from the accident and recently returned to acting, and his memoirs about the accident and recovery. My next breath, has just been released.

“I didn't want to write it,” says Renner about the new book and continues to speak CBS morning this morning. “I just don't think it is valuable in my life because I lived it. It was a private incident that happened in my driveway. Why does someone take care of it?”

But he adds: “It is important to achieve what you want in your life. This is the lesson I had to learn. It was silly not to share it.”

Renner's description of almost dying or maybe dying for a short time, while he is waiting for 45 minutes for the arrival of paramedics, is both psychedelic and dramatic.

“When I was lying on the ice, my heart rate slowed down, and right there, on this New Year's Day, that of my daughter, my sisters, my friends, my father, my mother, I was only tired,” he writes. “After about thirty minutes on the ice, which you breathe manually for so long, there is an effort for half an hour that has ten or twenty push -ups per minute … then I died.”

He says he learned from Emts that his “heart rate was triggered at 18”, which means that he was “basically dead”, and he writes: “I know that I died – in fact I'm sure. “

And he provides a description that is known to the genre of nearby facility: “When I died, it was energy, constantly connected, beautiful and fantastic energy. There was no time to see no place or nothing, except that a kind of electrical vision was made two ways of vision with two ways.

Then, he says, when he “not damn”, “the celebration of the New Year [became] A recognition of the depth of love in our family. “

He said CBS morning Today experience gave him a new perspective on everything.

“I think it's a way to zoom in and concentrate,” he says. “What am I worth? It has changed since the accident. There is a lot of white noise that I have published. I have to simplify life because it is just so easy to live in this room is pretty peaceful. [a] Joyful, clean life. “

Renner is a two-time Oscar candidate for 2010 The injured locker and 2011 The city. It appears in the Paramount+ series The Mayor of KingstownNow in the fourth season, and he will appear in the coming third episode of Knife out.
