Utah GOP Senator John Curtis promises to be an independent voice while he breaks with Trump because of key questions

In a Republican party dominated by President Donald Trump, Senator John Curtis, who last year, was the retired seat of the retired sen.

“I really think that the best way to make President Trump successful, let him know if we do not agree,” the Republican of Utah told CNNS Manu Raju about “Inside Politics Sunday”. In his first speech in the Senate this month, Curtis emphasized the advantages of being honest in Washington.

“The likelihood that the congress will provide real results for the American people rise dramatically when we say the truth to each other not only behind closed doors, but outdoors,” he said.

The senator for newcomers said that he had already issued part of this “wild” honesty with the Trump government and informed the president's cabinet candidate, for whom he ultimately voted: “If we are not careful, we will destroy small companies with tariffs.”

He insisted that he would consider moving, about which CNN reported that Trump recently spoke “incredibly carefully”.

“Make me a case, but I will tell you that, as I judge this case, I will think in my head: What if this is a democratic president who comes to something that I think is important,” he said.

In another problem with headlines trumps plans for his administration to accept a luxury jet from the Qatarian royal family in order to use Curtis only for himself as Air Force One.

“I will only tell you that as a chosen civil servant, I found that it is best to avoid the appearance of a bad place,” he said.
