The controversial remarks of the veteran's veteran ignite the electoral scandal

CPI (M) Veteran G Sudhakaran, which was involved in controversy, explained that the election allegations against him “keep a tiger on his tail”. This comment follows a case that was initiated against him because of his public statements regarding the election manipulation in the Alappuzha Lok Sabha elections, which he clarified as a rhetorical strategy.

Sudhakaran's controversial statements appeared during a recently carried out event, in which he mentioned that sealed ballot papers should not suspect anonymity, which the voice accusations triggered. Although the police had clarified his comments as partly fictional, she went under the presentation of the People Act and the IPC.

The case shows concerns about election integrity. The Chief Electoral Officer from Kerala has updated the progress of the case to the electoral commission of India. In the meantime, the CPI (M) distanced itself from the statements of Sudhakaran and urged caution in such demands.
