New iPhone 17 air leak points out how the Super Slim phone could solve its potential problems of the battery life

  • Silicon batteries will arrive from TDK this year
  • Apple is one of the largest customers of TDK
  • The improved batteries were able to supply the iPhone 17 air with electricity

We expect the iPhone 17 to replace the iPhone 16 Plus this year, and it is expected that it has raised a few questions about the battery life. Now a new leak suggests that these questions could be answered using the next generation silicon battery.

According to a report by Bloomberg, Battery Maker TDK is with a significant upgrade in front of the schedule, in which silicon is used for the battery anode and not for conventional graphite. This means that 15% more energy can be packed in the same space.
